On October 22 2002, Gordon Ramsay at Claridges’s, Brook Street, London, opened, bringing together London’s only three Michelin - starred chef and the city’s most elegant location. This exciting synergy takes place in a beautiful new restaurant on the site of the hotels earlier dining room, by designer and architect, Thierry Despont.

Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s is open for breakfast, each day of the week, with seating for 65 guests perhaps, most excitingly, there is a chef’s table of 6 to 8 guests situated right in the heart of the kitchen where you will be able to experience the activity in drama of Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen.
Criteria

To design, supply and install a fully self-contained kitchen which offers a working environment to match the quality that is synonymous with Gordon’s own culinary skills.

Hansens have historically built up a close relationship and we were subsequently invited to a preliminary meeting to discuss details of the project. From this meeting we became the catering consultant for the project and the job was programmed to start as quickly as it was possible.

Result

A successful installation of a functional well-designed kitchen giving staff the benefit of excellent working and serving areas in a high traffic flow area, allowing Gordon to serve his outstanding food to a greater customer base in the most magnificent dining room.

Addendum

Hansens have now been commissioned to design, supply and install equipment to Gordon’s new restaurant at The Connaught.
