
Holding a 60th anniversary was a memorable experience.But after the celebration itself there was the sober realisation that we must really be getting something right to stay in business for so long. Supplying Londons caterers is a competitive, always hectic business and there are plenty who have tried to compete in the past. Very few manage to stick the course.
From the very first potato peeler my Father sold in 1946 to the Charvet bespoke range recently installed in the kitchen of London's most celebrated chef, one thing has remained constant at Hansens and that is the quality of service.
One thing that has really pleased me is the noticeable increase in the number of clients visiting our extensive Chefs Shop showrooms. They come to see and try items from some of the thousands we have in stock but also to sit down with one of our designers in our state of the art Design Studio and (quite literally) design their new kitchen live on screen.
What we are really good at is helping caterers find the right kitchen layout or equipment product or combination of those things and then delivering what we promise.
