Criteria
To design and supply and install three new bars in the hotel “The Borsalina”, “The Davidov” and “The Rotunda”.
The design of the bars was very interesting as it was in keeping with the overall grandness of this very historic hotel, but at the same time fitted with ‘ top end’ and modern stainless steel equipment. Quality was paramount and we did this with the help of the hotel manager and RF Hotels and project manager Ned Campion.
The delivery of the equipment and all of the building and decoration works was undertaken by Waterside International. Their contract manager Doug Willsher had the very important task of not only ensuring that all of the engineers including Hansens could complete the works on time and to RF hotels specific 5 star standards, but of also making sure that everything got there via Moscow (without anything going missing)!
Result
The job was completed on time thankfully and a big hand goes out to Ned and Doug who got to know and understand the Russian way of doing things very quickly!
Addendum
Hansens have now been commissioned to design a new banqueting kitchen and pre-function bars at the St Davids, Cardiff and the Kennedyalle new build hotel project in Frankfurt, Germany for Rocco Forte Hotels Ltd.
